The department was established in 2023-2024 and accepts scientific, applied, biological, literary, commerce, and applied arts branches.

Vision
Physical education at the college aspires to be among the internationally accredited scientific departments by raising its scientific and administrative level and to be a leader in the field of scientific research to serve the Iraqi, Arab and international community.

the mission 
Preparing qualified and specialized scientific staff in the field of physical education and sports sciences to contribute to improving school sports and community health, as well as preparing researchers in the field of sports sciences to advance the Iraqi sports movement at various levels.

Goals 
Preparing teachers for physical education lessons for secondary school levels who are familiar with the physical, educational and social aspects.
Working to develop the sports movement for all sectors of the country, in cooperation with the relevant authorities (the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Olympic Committee).
Contributing to spreading sports culture

1- Professional football as a professional player, referee or coach.
2- Professional basketball as a player or coach.
3- Professional teaching as a teacher or sports coach in schools.
4- Working as a sports trainer in a fitness center.
5- Work in athletics centers as a weightlifting coach, and you can join public or private clubs to qualify for a team in the name of the club.
6- Working in one of the major sports halls and clubs as a boxing trainer.
7- Working within a comprehensive training center as a motor sports trainer.
8- Working in physical rehabilitation centers for girls as a rhythmic movements trainer.
9- Investing experience in opening a sports fitness center.
