Al-Rasheed University College Participates in Organizing the Al-Mustansiriya Conference on Promoting Peace and Combating Intellectual Extremism

A scientific conference was held at Al-Mustansiriya University on Thursday on the role of universities in promoting peace and social coexistence and combating intellectual extremism. The conference was held in cooperation with Al-Rasheed University College and several other academic institutions.
Representatives from Rashid College participated in the conference, including Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Saad Abdel Aziz Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Qasim Turki, Head of the Law Department, Assistant Professor Talib Hussein Ali, Head of the Arabic Language Department, and Assistant Professor Abdul Hamid Imad Hamoud, the College's media representative.
The conference addressed important topics, including cultural and religious pluralism as a foundation for peaceful coexistence, and the role of universities in disseminating moderate thought and promoting a culture of dialogue. It also featured discussion panels featuring academics and experts to explore mechanisms for countering intellectual extremism through scientific and educational programs.
