ملخصthe isolation and identification of Legionella from water tanks in Baghdad remain critical for public health, as high summer temperatures (often exceeding 50°C) and aging infrastructure promote the growth of these bacteria. Studies in Iraq have consistently identified Legionella pneumophila as a prevalent contaminant in both household water tanks and industrial cooling systems.
