ملخصclinical and epidemiological evaluations identify betatrophin (also known as ANGPTL8) as a potential diagnostic biomarker for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). While initially hypothesized to be a therapeutic agent for beta cell regeneration, current consensus primarily recognizes its role as a marker of insulin resistance and dyslipidemia
