Al-Rasheed Pharmacy celebrated its first students in Iraq in the calendar exams for the academic year 2022-2023.
The department’s students who ranked first in public and private colleges in the evaluation exams for the academic year 2022-2023 were honored in a splendid ceremony in the presence of the department’s staff, outstanding students, and their honorable families. The ceremony was opened with a welcome speech by the head of the Pharmacy Department, Assistant Professor Dr. (Israa Ghazi Jabbar), in which she praised the distinguished efforts, pride, and esteem. With its outstanding students and efficient department staff The ceremony also included a valuable speech about the current government measures to support the pharmaceutical industry and the private sector, delivered by Professor Dr. Hamoudi Abbas Al-Lami, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Pharmaceutical Industry Affairs, expressing his pride in the efforts of the department’s management, its staff, and its students. Dr. Haider Al-Sayegh, head of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, also gave a speech in which he praised Al-Rasheed Pharmacy students and the Syndicate’s current steps in supporting pharmacists and providing job opportunities. After that, the distinguished professors were honored, the department’s top students were honored at the level of government and private colleges in Iraq, the top students in the Pharmacy Department, and the students of the twinning project with the British University of Cambridge.
